How to Fix Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles

Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles

Hi, I’m Alana, licensed aesthetician and Day Spa owner. Today we’re going to talk about puffy eyes and dark circles. Some of the problems that many of us have around the eyes are the dark circles and the puffy, puffy, baggy eyes. Now unfortunately, a lot of that is genetic, but we do have a few products that seem to help in that process of reducing the puffiness and dark circles.

Remedies

First is Epicuren’s Eye Alive Serum. It used to be in a jar. This is the thin product to put along the under eye area and that I’ve known to help reduce my puffiness and dark circles. Also we have iS Clinical. They have a product – the Eye Complex – also to reduce puffiness and anything with Vitamin K is a reducer of your puffiness and anything with caffeine and stimulation ingredients will help with the blood flow – that’s why you have those dark circles because the blood is trapped under the skin and is not flowing so it gives you a dark circle look.

Also a really popular product is Image Skincare’s Balancing Eyelift Gel, now this doesn’t help so much with the dark circles but really tightens the puffy area. So if you biggest battle is puffiness – I really like this product. It’s also very thin in texture and when you apply it, I always recommend upward strokes to tighten. You want to go against to tighten that area. Also don’t be afraid to do touch-ups during the day. Put an eye cream in your purse. Put one of these serums in your purse and if you go to the rest room during lunch and just touch-up, that will help you throughout the day to keep giving your skin that hydration and those ingredients that it needs to combat that puffiness and those dark circles. So that’s my tip.

Also cucumbers: Cucumbers are a great natural ingredient you can use at home but make sure it’s actually on the skin and again that helps with the circulation problem coming from dark circles and the puffiness. You want to leave it on about ten minutes and then take off. So I hope these tips helped you and give me a call if you have any other questions. Thanks.
