Number 1 is Epicuren does not guarantee those purchase over a shopping cart for skincare.

Number 2 is they’re not following Epicuren’s rules and standards, meaning you may not be getting a fresh, new product and you will not get that product returned because Epicuren does not take back if it’s a skincare, shopping cart web order.

Now the best way to order your products is to talk to an aesthetician – and that’s what we do. As an aesthetician, we make sure you are using these products properly. You can call and get advice – we’ll ask you questions, find out your skin type – it’s always good to do a face-to-face analysis, but if you’ve seen an aesthetician before and you’ve gotten a good skin type analysis, generally we can help you figure out what is the best product.  I also recommend trying things first that is why samples are great. We always give out free samples to our clients because it’s the best way for you to try something and for us to give you the opportunity to find a new, fabulous product.

Hi, I’m Alana, licensed aesthetician and Day spa owner. This is going to be a video about lip plumping. Now, there’s 2 different ways you can get plumper, fuller lips – one is more of a reaction with cinnamon ingredients that stimulate blood flow. A lot of people don’t generally care for that as it just leaves a tingly sensation on your lips. So the products I’m going to show you generally have a hydration purpose and plumper that don’t give you that tingly sensation.

The Hardware of Lip Plumping

So we have Lip Expander by Divaderme. Now this product hydrates as well as gives you a SPF 15 and it kind of fools the eye into thinking that the lips look fuller than they are. So you apply this and it really help to penetrate any of those lines and you can also fake a little bit and put it above the lip line area. So that’s a good lip plumping product that doesn’t cause that tingly sensation. Nice hydration and it will just coat and full – make the lips full by giving them a nice base coat so you can go over with your lip stick or lip gloss.

A very popular lip plumping product is Image’s Ormedic – Balancing Lip Enhancement Complex – a lot of women like this above the lip area, to help fill in those fine lines, so this is probably one of our most popular – yeah, people order like 6-10 at a time that love it, use it and give it to their friends.  So this is a great one for a kind of anti-aging lip plumper – hydration.

Hi, I’m Alana, licensed aesthetician and Day spa owner. We’re going to talk about acne prevention tips. So basic tips – make sure you wash your hands before you wash your face, any time, day or night and then you’re going to want to wash your face 2 times at night, that’s right, 2 times. Foam, cleanse, rinse and then do that all over again. It also helps to rinse your face with cold water when you’re done washing your face as this will close your pores and prevent lusts getting into your pores and giving you acne. So problematic skin – another good tip is to reduce the times that you touch your face – especially if you touch your hair and then you touch your face – you’re getting the oil from your hair onto your face. If you have long hair, say you have bangs and you notice you’re getting a break out along your forehead, at night and during the day when say, you’re at home, take a little clip and take your hair back or pull your hair back at night and braid it, and braiding it will help it from breaking as ponytails usually do when you’re asleep. So those are some tips for your hair and your skin, also if you’re noticing a break out along your hair line – I have a few clients that noticed this and they had recently changed shampoos and conditioners so take a look at those shampoos and conditioners that you’re using – I recommend, we have a few… DermOrganic and also Agadir – they have great products that hydrate your hair and don’t leave it collected with…basically… preservatives – so those are 2 really good product lines that you can use on your hair to help prevent any type of breakout or acne.

Other acne prevention tips – again drink lots of water. It’s really important to do that and help flush things out and, yeah, wash your hands and don’t touch your face – that’s the biggest one.

Hi, this is Alana. Epicuren is a great product line. I found this line many, many, many years ago in my first job at a Day Spa as an aesthetician. I love this line. I use a lot of their products in my facial room. It was my first product I ever had for skincare so I always refer back to it – it has great products, many, many, many products so you’ll find something for your particular skin problem needs. It’s paraben free, they’re here in California. Hi, my name’s Alana, I’m a licensed esthetician and Day Spa owner. A lot of people ask me how to take care of their eyes and about my personal eye care regime. So this is going to be about eye care.

Now whether you’re battling dark circles and puffiness or fine lines and wrinkles, you have to use products that have high quality grade ingredients. The products that I sell, Image, Epicuren, Rhonda, Cellex-C, Ilike – all of these are high quality products.

So decide first the focus of your eye care regime – do you want something for puffiness, do you want something for dry eyes? Do you need something for fine lines and wrinkles and discoloration? So what I like to use for dehydration and fine lines is a creamy based eye cream such as Epicuren’s Eye cream, also, Rhonda has an eye/lip repair system that is very heavy so you can put that on to seal any product that you want to really penetrate such as any type of eye cream. Also, a little tip – you can use skincare facial products like eye creams – say you have sensitive skin and you break out because you get pimples and little clogged pores around here because you’re using a heavy eye cream. Well, don’t use the eye cream – use a light moisturizer and use it like an eye cream and put it around the eye area. Now, most products will say not to put it too close to the eyes and you want to be cautious of that. So when you’re applying products to your eye area- right here you have your eye bone – this is about as close as you want to go and apply. Now if you notice any products at all ever give you redness or burning or itching you want to stop using that product for some time until that goes away.

Clayton Shagal is a line that comes to us from Canada. Their products are deep, penetrating products using elastin, collagen and hydration. So after you’ve cleansed and exfoliated your skin, you’re going to apply either the elastin collagen gel or both to your skin and then you’re going to apply one of the moisturizers to give you a nice surface hydration.

So some of the questions we get frequently are – Do they have samples? – and unfortunately, they do not.

Do they have an eye cream? No, they do not have an eye cream.

But these products, you can use around the eye area.

Also, do I use the gel 2 or the gel plus first? Whether it’s elastin or collagen, you always start with gel 2 if you’ve never tried the gel products before. And then after gel 2, you bump up and go to gel plus. After gel plus, you then move to the extract. Each product step up from the 2 to the plus to the extract is about 33% higher in content of active ingredient. So those are some of our more frequently asked questions. Clear Cell which is the Blue line is for your acneic problem skin like blackheads, pimples, things like that. Then you have the green line called Ormedic that is the organic line and solar defense products. They have the yellow label which is tinted. They have got non-tinted oil free lotion. Oh, popular question that e get a lot – oil free is still the lotion, it’s still the white lotion even though it’s an oil free. So don’t get scared if you get that product- it’s oil free.

And, let’s see…travel kits. Their travel kits are great, you get a mini kit, it gives you about a week’s supply and you can try their cleanser, their serum, their repair cream and a mask and a sunscreen. So those are about $20 depending on the kit and you call us and we can send that to you too.
